Special email series will dig deeper
As you learned from Executive Director Tammy Laurence in her Sept. 13th email, family homelessness is increasing in Durham, and many households are two weeks away from being on the street. Equally disturbing, more than 1,500 children in Durham Public Schools fit the definition of homeless. What are the root causes of family homelessness in Durham and why are things trending in the wrong direction? Tammy will answer those questions in her next email to you on Oct. 11th. She will also share how FMF is responding to these challenges. You can hear Tammy's message even sooner -- and ask your own questions -- by attending our Harvest Dinner on Oct. 5th.
